The second day of the Poland weekend adventure! Today there were some serious additions to Jumbo (Jeep WJ)!
The day started early, i had set the alarm to 7:00. The morning was pretty much standard procedure. Shower, breakfast packing and off i go! The fist ting that hit me when i walked out to my Jeep is that it was really cold! It was around zero degrees, even negative degrees on a few occasions!
The drive from Kroczyce to Zagnansk is only 110km, took just over an hour. Along the way i was lucky to get the chance to experience this beautiful and cold Polish autumn morning. It was negative degrees almost constantly the first half hour.
After arriving in Zagnansk i gave Ilona at MetalPasja a call. They came and meet me up and led me to their workshop. MetalPasja translated to English is “Metal Passion” or “passion for metal”, that really describe these guys (and a girl). They are really experts in Jeep armor!
After talking some and i showed them around my Jeep they set to work while i studied some .NET (Sadly yes, .NET. Don’t even own a windows computer) for university. It took almost the entire day, they where finished at around 18 a clock. We had a quick photo shoot. They where also very happy with the result. I had specifiet that i wanted my fuel tank skit painted. and so they did! It ended up awesome!
In this post i will only write some quick facts about the bumper. A in depth writeup is coming later!
Features:
- Tire carrier
- Winch mount
- 2×2″ reciver
- Recovery points
- 2x Led lights
- Line-x coating
The bumper feels solid, i like the rear winch mount. If i only had the money for a warn winch..
From the MetalPasja shop there were only a 25 minute ride to my hotel. Well at the hotel i shot a few more pictures in the garage, grabbed a burger for dinner and now I’m writing this. Tomorrow the adventure continue, and more pictures of my Jeep is guaranteed!
